The DeKalb County Christmas Bureau interviews and matches families with companies, agencies, and individuals that would like to provide children of need with Christmas gifts.

- All families are required to assist others by Ringing the Bell for the Salvation Army.
Referrals are accepted September 1st – October 15th and the Application Process must be completed by November 10th.

Our SHOP-4-CHRISTMAS program was designed for Families that are not able to be helped through the Christmas Bureau or other agencies. Our Thrift Shop is transformed into a Toy Store with new and gently used toys, books, and outerwear, etc — and families are given a private opportunity to do their own shopping on a specific day.
Christmas carols play as volunteers help the parents with their shopping, and the food pantry provides each family with a holiday surprise. Families leave feeling proud that they were able to participate in providing a Christmas celebration for their loved ones.
NOTE: Space is limited with both programs, and all applications are accepted on a First-Come/First-Served basis until full. NO Christmas assistance of any kind can be offered after November 10th.
