SonShine Ministries is proud to have TWO WAYS of offering you food.

The DEKALB TEFAP FOOD DISTRIBUTION hours are:

• Thursday’s 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
• No Requirements
• You may visit weekly
• Please provide your own bag or box

The SONSHINE FOOD PANTRY hours are:

• Monday’s 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• Thursday’s 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• You may visit twice a month
• Registration is required (see below)
  

The front part of the pantry. Refrigerators, Freezers, and food sorting & selections.

Stainless steel shelving holds dry and canned goods. Rolling carts help to bring the food to the front for selection.

We are always in need of several items.

• Breakfast Cereals
• Peanut Butter
• Mac and Cheese
• Soups
• Box Dinners
• Tuna
• Box Potatoes
• Noodles
• Canned Meats
• Paper Products

Volunteers use our Yellow Wagons to assist clients in getting their food from the Pantry to the cars.

Residents of DeKalb County Indiana may visit the SONSHINE FOOD PANTRY twice
a month.
To REGISTER for the SONSHINE FOOD PANTRY, please provide the following on your first visit:

• Proof of DeKalb County Residency
• Photo ID’s
• Birth Certificates for your Children under the age of 18

Thank You to the many supporting Churches, Organizations, Local Businesses, Students, the Mail Carriers Food Drive, & various food industry truck lines.  Along with many prayers being said for our needs — Our Pantry stays stocked with the necessary items to provide a basic healthy family meal to those in need.
